When AuxilPartner was founded in 2012, Dirk Schlarmann and Dr. Holmer Glietz already had many years of consultancy experience working on reorganisation and restructuring projects for medium-sized production companies. Their aim has always been to provide companies with more than just theoretical concepts in PowerPoint and slide presentations. Instead, what is offered are sustainable recommendations for action to increase earnings, secure financing and ultimately regain and consolidate corporate independence.

We assume active responsibility for the binding implementation of the measures developed and, as a trusted partner, provide support for you, your company, and all relevant stakeholders throughout the restructuring period.

Today, more than ten years after our company was founded, five additional partners — Axel Nordsieck, Jan Duisberg, Moritz Miller, Frederik Reimann and Dr. Jörg Hüntelmann — help manage our expanded team of 55 colleagues. Over time, we have extended our core competencies with a greater focus on organisational development and cultural transformation. To reflect this, our corporate brand has been called AUXIL VALUE INTEGRATION since 2023.

This is based on the observation from countless restructuring projects that every company has both material and non-material potential for increasing value and resilience. DIRK SCHLARMANN

Before moving into restructuring consultancy in 2007, I worked for the Toyota Formula 1 team, where I was responsible for coordinating the production of carbon fibre composite vehicle parts. I then worked for several years in a well-known (international) German restructuring consultancy as a project manager for the creation and active implementation of restructuring concepts in the automotive, mechanical and plant engineering sectors. Since then, in addition to developing business and performance management concepts, I have taken on numerous operational interim and management responsibilities as CRO (including in the parent company) and actively supported managing directors and shareholders in restoring their companies to profitability.

I am committed to implementing concepts consistently and with passion, fighting for your success by working side by side with you to offer professional support in the restructuring of financing solutions and joint management with your stakeholders.

DOCTORATE IN POLITICAL SCIENCE, UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN ECONOMICS

Over the last 15 years of my professional career, I have had the opportunity to advise a large number of companies in Germany — from medium-sized hidden champions to DAX companies. My passion is successfully supporting medium-sized companies through the various phases of restructuring to put them back on the path to growth. In my role as an interim manager (CRO, CFO), I took responsibility for concept creation (restructuring reports according to IDW S6, planning plausibility checks, liquidity planning, independent business reviews (IBR) etc.) and for the successful implementation of these concepts to help companies transition into the subsequent growth phase.

My career began with vocational bank training. I then completed a degree in economics at the University of Bonn with honours, followed by a doctorate at WHU and the Wharton School of Business. I continue to be actively involved in research projects on the subject of restructuring and crisis management.
